The Entrepreneurial School Awards 2020

November in Berlin statt.

Detailinformationen von JA Europe:

The Entrepreneurial School Awards is an annual recognition of outstanding primary, secondary and vocational schools championing entrepreneurship education.

To be eligible for an award, schools must:

  • Put on entrepreneurship education activities that include most of their teachers and students

  • Have a vision and a plan

  • Allocate specific resources

  • Actively support teachers' continuing professional development and training

  • Include the local community and business sector.

Each JA organisation can nominate up to 2 schools for the TES Awards 2020 as long as at least one of them is a VET school. All the VET nominees will be considered for the EVSW Innovators category. Our jury will select 2 to move into the final phase of the online voting competition organized by the European Commission. Both schools will be invited to participate at the European Vocational Skills Week 2020 events and the European Commission will cover the travel and participation costs for both selected schools. One of these schools will receive an award from the European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights, Nicolas Schmit during the European Vocational Skills Week, between 9-13 November 2020 in Berlin, Germany. Due to the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic we will inform you at a later stage whether the TES Awards Ceremony in November will be in person or a virtual event

Nomination Process: The schools are nominated by national JA organisations in cooperation with their national education authorities and/or Ministries of Education.

The Entrepreneurial School Awards is not a European competition, it is a celebration event. We will not have one European winner but several national winners.

Prize: The nominated school(s) in each country will be named “The Entrepreneurial School of the Year” and recognised across the JA network and through all our media and social media channels.
